Thank you to all who completed the 2025 IB Application to start grade 8 in September 2025. The application window is now closed. We are not able to accept additional applications
Please be advised that individual results/standings will not be released. Submitting an application indicates that you understand and will adhere to this practice.
Details about the application process for next year will be available in October 2025.
Please note that we do not recommend any special preparation or study for the admissions process.
2025-2026 Application Eligibility for Bayview Secondary's IB Programme:
Live in York Region within Bayview's IB catchment area at time of application (We cannot accept applications form outside of the area, this includes families who are planning to move into the area in future).
Be a student currently in Grade 8
- Additional requirements will be shared in the fall of 2025
Registration Notes:
The York Region District School Board IB Programme application is completed centrally for all York Region IB Schools through the EDSBY platform. The central application is for programmes offered at Alexander Mackenzie High School, Bayview Secondary School, The Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School, Maple High School and Milliken Mills High School.
- During the application process the YRDSB IB school serving your child's home address will be identified. Regrettably, we are not able to consider applicants who live outside of Bayview's IB boundaries.
- Please be sure to completed the application during the application window. The application window is currently closes.
- We are not able to accept late applications.
- We do not recommend any special preparation or study for the admissions process.
- Students who are in Grade 9 or 10 and who are interested in the IB Programme, are encouraged to reach out to the IB Coordinator for information about the waiting list.
