Library Resources
Who are we and what do we do?
The B.S.S. Library Learning Commons (LLC, for short) is a welcoming, dynamic space where students can study, read, conduct research, do homework, participate in numerous activities, and learn. The Teacher-Librarians and Library Technician are available to assist students and staff throughout the school day. The Teacher-Librarians (T-Ls) are also available to collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and prepare lessons, to teach classes in information literacy and critical thinking skills, or to conduct book talks, as well as assess student progress in these areas.
We have both print and digital collections, including access to Gale (online databases), JStor, the Toronto Star Online, and other online sources which may be found on the Online Student Tools. Students may get the link/class code from their classroom teachers, or from LLC staff.
