Important Dates:
We are looking forward to hosting an information evening for students who will be entering Grade 9 in September 2027 at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026. No registration is required to attend the information session.
The application window will be open between: Friday, October 16, 2026 and Thursday, November 12, 2026.
Applicants will be able to select an assessment date on: Thursday, November 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. or Saturday, November 21, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
Please note that we do not recommend any special preparation or study for the admissions process.
2026-2027 Application Eligibility for Bayview Secondary's IB Programme:
Live in York Region within Bayview's IB catchment area at time of application (We cannot accept applications form outside of the area, this includes families who are planning to move into the area in future).
Be a student currently in Grade 8.
